PetQR
Mobile preview
Web platform to identify pets with a QR code: each pet gets a public profile that anyone can scan to contact the owner if it gets lost. Team bootcamp project (4Geeks Academy).
The challenge
Let any lost pet be identified and reunited with its owner within minutes, without relying on flyers or social media.
When a pet gets lost, whoever finds it usually has no way to contact the owner: physical tags get lost or become unreadable, and there is no direct channel between the finder and the owner.
Solution
Together with my bootcamp team we built PetQR: the owner registers their pet and generates a unique QR code; when scanned, anyone can see the pet's public profile (name, species, breed) and contact the owner instantly.
Results
The team delivered a fully functional end-to-end full-stack application: user registration and authentication, QR generation, a public pet gallery and individual profiles, deployed to production.
